Asda’s Q3 results made grim reading, and critics have decried ‘appalling’ store standards. Could the plan be too price fixated?
Asda really are doing it the hard way regards profit. Perhaps the intention is to sell the business off a stable value share base. The only way this works long term is if suppliers fund the price differential Asda are targeting so suppliers can expect some pressure. – David Sables
